As women, we all need our "own little quiet place" to go and get recharged. As women with diabetes, it is often hard to find a place that caters to our unique needs and desires. You are encouraged to take time out from caring for others (spouse, kids, significant other, parents, etc.) and spend some time in this special place dedicated to you and your needs.

DiabetesSisters strives to create a sense of unity and empowerment among women with diabetes.

To fulfill our Mission, we provide the following programs and services to women with diabetes around the world:

• A Women's Forum to talk openly, share stories, and ask questions about diabetes without fear of judgment

• A Diabetes Buddy Program to connect women with a friend to support them on their journey with diabetes

• Weekly Blogs about the nuances of living successfully with diabetes from our Type 1, Type 2, and Pregnancy Contributors

• Monthly 'Hot Topics' Blogs to provide discussion on current developments related to women with diabetes

• A Certified Diabetes Educator to answer in-depth diabetes healthcare questions
